In the current state of power markets, CAES stands as the most economically attractive grid-scale storage technology.  Apex is initially focused on the development of CAES within Texas but will actively target opportunities to construct CAES generation plants in other markets where additions of intermittent wind and solar resources increase the value of grid regulation and time shifting of energy.
